Given the brown with yellow on the belly description from Steve I am inclined to think Long-tailed Weasel. Mink are a dark chocolate brown all over except for some white on the chin and throat area. Weasels tend to be brown above ranging from white below in the Short-tailed Weasel to white or yellow in the Long-tailed. By the way, I did see 2 Mink out at Toussaint Wildlife Area on Sunday along with some shorebirds (see Joe Hammond's shorebird site)
