Subject: Minks not Martens

Steve, I think you were probably seeing minks at Irwin Prairie. They're pretty inquisitive, especially the young. We don't have martens here in Ohio, although it was a pretty good guess. According to a DNR handout I have, martens were extirpated from the state in 1838 near Chilicothe.
