I fail to see how I "put myself out on a limb" referring to an animal with two provisos: "I think" then asking for help with identification. I found the first two responses to my post constructive and helpful - thanks guys! Those were the types of responses I was hoping to get. The semi-anonymous post I can do without. I can assure all these were not squirrels - based on the field marks I observed. Truthfully, I'm not out to prove an exotic discovery and I don't feel I should have to.

I'd be happy to discuss the Non-Red Squirrel some other time and place, but I'm through discussing here.
