Subject: More Fall Migration

In the early mornings on both Saturday and Sunday, there was a good movement of songbirds through the woods along Swan Creek at our home in Whitehouse. Sunday was especially good with eleven species of warblers, the best being a Pine and a couple of Wilson's. Nashvilles and Tennessees were particularly numerous with Blackpolls and Black-throated greens being the next most common. Possibly record late (by three days according to the book) was a vocal Great-crested flycatcher on Sunday. Migrant raptors were scarce -- best bird was a single Osprey on Saturday.
