Subject: Algonquin Field Trip Reservations

Per trip leader Greg Links, advance reservations will be required in order to attend the TNA-sponsored field trip to Algonquin Provincial Park in August. Reservations will need to be made by May 31st by calling the TNA hotline (419-877-9640) and leaving your name and phone number. Get your name in early as there will be a limited number of spots.

The trip is scheduled for August 21-24 (Thursday through Sunday). Semi-primative tent camping will be required. We will be doing a lot of hiking along trails as opposed to birding from the road.

For anyone not familiar with Algonquin, it is an 8-9 hour drive from Toledo. The park is approximately two hours north of Toronto. It is a beautiful area with many wild animals, including black bear (one of which visited our campsite two years ago).

Be prepared to get tired and dirty as we experience the raw natural beauty of the park and its inhabitants.
