Subject: Connecticut Warbler

I had a singing Connecticut Warbler at Magee Marsh yesterday (Thursday) at the west end of the parking lot. Virginia Rail was seen on the big loop. Yellow-billed Cuckoo was also calling.

Bobolinks don't often stay around here for long but there are at least three singing on Krause Road in the corn stubble just east of the sparrow field parking lot. Thanks to John Sawvel for directions. They have been there several days now.

To Jenny on owls, there is a Gray Phase Screech Owl roosting 15' from the boardwalk at Magee between the two loops. Ask people there to point it out to you.

Rick
