Amazingly,Yesterday there were 6 Cattle Egrets sitting in an open field near the school on Northover street off of Jackman Rd. A helicopter flew overhead and they all flew away. (These were first spotted by Greg "not-Links") They were gone after we birded in Greenwood Park. Steve Mc checked again today and they were absent. :-(
