Subject: Goll Woods

Went out to Goll Woods on the 26th after reading Eric's posting on the 25th. If you've never been to a virgin forest it's worth the trip on that merit alone. The size of those trees-WoW! We went in search of the Pileated and were'nt disappointed, although it took about 3 hrs of hiking and the help of a couple of birders we ran into there and knew from Magee. If you make the trip don't forget the repellant.
