Subject: Harlequin Duck missed again (1/6)

Hi!

Dan Sanders and I made the trek to Toledo [from Columbus] for the second time in six days and missed the Harlequin Duck again...the first time [Jan 2] we whiffed at the Salisbury Quarry and this time we whiffed at Weir Rapids. We spent several hours this morning searching at Weir Rapids, the RR bridge at Grand Rapids, and Farnsworth Park. No Harley. We also missed seeing any of the white-winged gulls. There was a single adult Lesser Black-backed Gull at Farnsworth Park this morning.
