The birding at Metzger was fine early Friday morning. We saw 20 species of warblers including the Orange-crowned and Prairie. By late morning the overall activity had slowed. I left and stopped back at Metzger late this afternoon and I saw the Prairie a couple more times with the last time being at 6:00 P.M.

The Prairie is located in the wooded corner of the parking lot. Sometimes it's real low and near the edge of the lot and sometimes it's back in the corner a little further and higher.
