On May 18th my NCO team and I were alerted by another birder to the house of his sister who had seen a Blue Grosbeak in her yard. I was hoping to see it as I've never seen the species, but the bird was not present. The bird never showed up, and because it had not been seen for a few days we assumed it had moved on. The bird was seen that Monday and Tuesday (13th and 14th). The house was on Whitehouse-Spencer road, near Oak Openings.
Again, it appears the bird has gone other places.
