Subject: Golden Plovers, Buff-B Sandpipers in BG

4 American Golden Plovers have been at (and nearby) the BGSU GC pond for at least a couple days now (mostly still in breeding plumage). And Jack L, a fellow at my office, had reported 2 Buff-breasted Sandpipers at the same spot this afternoon. I went to get them an hour ago, but a brief look could not refind the sandpipers, but they may still be around...

FYI also - on Sat, a Barred Owl was seen at eye-level 12 feet off the bike trail between Girdham and Wilkins at Oak Openings.
