Subject: Ducks and Woodcocks

Having visited the Sandusky Bay area last weekend and Ottawa and Magee yesterday, if you are looking for ducks, Sandusky Bay and the surrounding marshes are the place to be right now. Total numbers of ducks and species variety were much, much higher around the bay. And all were seen from the car I might add. There were approximately 30 black-backed gulls in the bay area last weekend also.

For Wood County residents, woodcocks are displaying in the meadow at Wintergarden Park in Bowling Green. This is the best viewing of displaying woodcocks I've ever had. Check it out.
