Subject: Grand Rapids/Waterville CBC this Saturday 12/29

The Grand Rapids/Waterville CBC will be held this Saturday, 12/29.

Areas covered include the Maumee River watershed, Oak Openings Metropark, and other choice spots as well. This count has consistently been in Ohio's top 10 counts for total species, and has turned up some real doozies in the past: Mew gull, Harlequin duck, Am. golden plover, Pine grosbeak, etc, etc.

Meet count compiler Tom Kemp and the other leaders at the Cafe Chickaroo in downtown Whitehouse at 7am.

This winter weather we are having is a GOOD thing for this count.

Hope to see you there,

Greg
