Second place in football does get you into Columbia's Hall of Fame.

Really? Why, because he's been an assistant for years at a highly successful, Ivy League program?

I believe that Surace is the only current head coach in the league who did not win an Ivy title as an assistant coach.

Megan Griffith spent several years as an assistant at Princeton, making multiple NCAA Tournament appearances from a perennial champion. Now, compare that to Coach Poppe's resume.
Get real.

Columbia Women's Basketball finished in 1st place (tied) each of the past 2 seasons.

Or maybe we should cancel all of the Big Green's Ivy titles in which they were tied for 1st place.

2022 Princeton 77–59 Columbia Kaitlyn Chen Lavietes Pavilion (Boston, MA)
2023 Princeton 54–48 Harvard Kaitlyn Chen Jadwin Gymnasium (Princeton, NJ)
2024 Princeton 75–58 Columbia Kaitlyn Chen Levien Gymnasium (New York, NY)

From the standpoint of going to the NCAA tournament
Its the league tournament that counts
