In reply to: An Observer 's message, ""Saturday's Referees Set Back Officiating Writ Large by Decades" -- Klatt" on 13:47:37 10/23/24 Wed

After the disputed 2021 Tiger- Crimson game. I said the game should never be overturned after the final whistle. In affect, the game will ever be ruined. Then I suggest that Princeton right or wrong dose not matter should keep the win and the league should proclaim Princeton and Harvard as 2021 Ivy League Football Champions. Now I somewhat (not entirely) question that. If that precedent was set then would other schools flood the league office with numerous post game disputes?

Precedent or not the H-P decision has been discussed ad nauseum and the officials followed the proper procedures at the time. If harvard had not been involved, this game would have slipped quietly into history by now. Nearly every team feels cheated by officiating at some time.
