While I like our new head coach, the lack of a running game last season was our biggest issue. I can't even remember the last time Cornell had a running back rush for over 100 yards let alone 1.000 yards in a season. In comparison in the 1980'S and 90's when Cornell had some great seasons we had some really good running backs. Call me old school, but when you out rush the other team, chances are y0u will win the game.

He got plenty of yards with his arm AND legs, so RBs weren't as necessary as they were before. Dartmouth hasn't had a 1,000-yard rusher in a while for similar reasons. We've been blessed with some excellent quarterbacks, and our RBs just aren't the focal point of the offense.
