A notice appeared online today that Ryan Mattison, Brown's OC, has parted ways with the university. Not sure if he was let go or left on his own. But one thing is for certain, the drumbeats are getting louder. Perry is on shaky ground, and he knows it.

Clearly, last year's performance is not being allowed to linger unaddressed or blamed on injuries. I wonder how or if this will affect recruiting.

Not sure, but David Gardner OL/DT 6'5" 315 just announced that he is decommitting. Now, did this have anything to do with the shake-up? I have no idea, but the shake-up certainly can't be helping. This year the expectation was at least 6-4, not 3-7. And nobody, but nobody, wants to hear excuses. Furthermore, alumni are getting tired of Perry singing the praises of all the teams that beat Brown as if they were great. They're not, but at times Brown was so bad, they made opponents look great. Time to face reality and either make it work, or go find work elsewhere.
