CCSU had some guys who could really hit. Dartmouth did enough to win, which is the important thing. We had plenty of help from CCSU on the last drive though. A face mask on the punt return put us deep in CCSU territory. A pass interference on third down and medium gave us first and goal. An offsides penalty when we fumbled and lost the ball was the icing on the cake. Our defense let CCSU drive down to our own five, but we clamped down on coverage after they dropped an easy TD pass on second down. Hey, 5-0 is 5-0. We do have injury issues now. Remains to be seen who will be able to play against Columbia next week. The Lions may be for real after all... [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

Winning their last four games by a total of 11 points and most of these games have been decided on the final drive or even last play. On the other hand, they have won their last two games against good teams without their starting quarterback. They are clearly a team of grit, resilience and physicality. But the next two weeks will certainly answer the question.
