In reply to: Brown Fan 's message, "Brown-Cornell" on 19:51:22 10/26/24 Sat

I could only follow the game on Live Stats as I was at an offsite meeting and had to remain discret, but it was obvious to me that Brown running the ball simply tired out our defense. I don't mean to sound like a broken record again, but the team with the most rushing yards usually wins the game! On the other hand, many modern day OC's just want to pass and forget the running game. Agreed it was a good Ivy League game and wish I were in the stands. I hope our new coaching staff learned a few things from this game.

Grin and Bear it (who called that play?)

Just before Maron kicked the winning field goal, Brown ran a play that defies sanity. Wilcox threw in the endzone to Solomon Miller. There were three Cornelians guarding him and the ball was almost intercepted. Had the ball been intercepted, Cornell would have won. Did Perry make this call? If so, can you imagine what kind of heat he would have taken if Cornell did intercept. I can't remember a dumber play ever being called at that point in the game. Did Perry give leave of his senses?
