In the democracies of the west we now are reaping the benefits of our forfathers who sacrificed their lives & used their intellect to put at bay the totaliteranism of Fascism & communism , we should all rejoice at our standing of living which would of been in the realms of science fiction just 50 years ago.The freedoms which we now enjoy from mass free schooling , to free presses,to homosexual rights & other freedoms owe a lot to our steadfastness in facing cultures which over the last 100 years have tried to usurp us , now we come to a new plateau in facing off the islamic world.
Who amongst us liberals would swop our imperfect liberal existence for any of the other sorts of society around , would any of us want to live under the Chinese communists or the Saudi regimes or even (so called )moderate islamic regimes such as Egypt or Kuwait , or any of the African despots which that continent seems to manufacture like an assembly line.
Please when replying do not bring up all the faults of our system as I am well aware of them , but tell me what out there is better than what we've got , if the answer is that we have AT THIS MOMENT THE BEST SORT OF SYSTEM then we must agree to support our societies against the islamication of the world , unless we want to go back to 500ad.
