>Kevin, you hit the nail right on the head! ANY arguement >based on faith is ignorant.

By the same token any argument against faith based on science is ignorant. There is a quote and I'm not entirely sure where it originated but I'll paraphrase it like this: "If you don't have faith then no amount of explanation will convince you and if you do have faith then no explanation is needed."

Here is another quote and I'm sure you will like this one better:
"There is principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance-that principle is contempt prior to investigation."
-Herbert Spencer-Probably best known for his chapter in the book "Social Statics," titled "The Right To Ignore The State." (By the way, I agree with both of these quotes)

>Science is the purest(non-biased) form of knowledge.

Don't bet on it many scientist have gone to their graves believing in some form or another of scientific facts that even during their own lifetimes were proven false. Every day we find out that some scientific fact of just a few years ago is a scientific falacy of today. So we base our perception of fact on what we believe is fact today, but tommorrow we could find out that our "faith" was misplaced.
I'm not saying that this proves that faith is better than science, I'm just saying that one doesn't neccessarily exclude the other.

>For you to say that facts cannot be provided from science, >makes christians look ignorant and illogical.

Strange thing that most of the greatest scientific minds believe in a Higher Supernatural Power.

>Making christians angry? I thought they loved everybody in >the name of jesus?

Even Jesus got angry. Don't confuse anger with hate, although I can't rule it out either.

>Don't you see that's my point! People with "god" faith >will not make good political leaders.

I always wondered why Lenin and Stalin made such great leaders, now I know. ;-)

>JohnE

>p.s. I'm not a devil worshiper

Am I supposed to have faith in that statement?

p.s. In regard to your first statement that "Cristians ... can never be true libertarians", what is your definition of a true libertarian? Also didn't your English teacher tell you you should never say never? Well, I guess I can never be a true "l"ibertarian; I'll settle for being a true "L"ibertarian instead.
