A friend of mine in Montana once told me what the local ranchers in that state do in regard to predators like wolves, bears, and the like who kill their livestock. They have an acronymn for it..S S S (Shoot/Shovel/Shut-up). What does that have to do with what you just said? Only the most important principle of it.

Do whatever you have to to protect yourself and your property.

LAW is only as good as those who will die to make it so.
