Subject: Sweet, Sweet, Sweet!!

What a performance against a solid Clemson team. All I can say is that our Lady Muskies tend to be better prepared for their opponents, well drilled in the fundamentals of the game and seem to be always mentally active regarding games situations. Even more important, each player has improved throughout this season, and their careers. This is a tribute to Melanie and her coaching staff. While the seniors will leave, let's make sure this group of coaches remain for many years to come.
There was another great, vocal crowd at today's game and a super turnout at the post game reception. Fr. Graham gave a great pep talk and introduced Melanie. She seemed to really appreciate the reception and fan support. The team did too as they all gather on stage to a warm welcome. While the task ahead gets tougher, I think many at today's game are convinced that this team is not done in the 2001 NCAA. Bring on UT, and see you Birmingham.
