As already said, but it bears repeating, congratulations to the coaches, team, and all associated with it, for an absolutely amazing season. For us who were there regularly it was a fun 32-3 season, not just a few minutes of national glory against Tennessee.

Credit Purdue for being able to take Xavier out of its game plan. That is the sign of a good team but takes little away from Xavier. Purdue is a very talented team (they were seeded higher than us) and simply hit the shots tonight when they needed to, whereas Xavier struggled with their shot at the end. For someone to question Melanie's coaching skills because of the loss of this one game, as somebody did below, is absolute nonsense, as all who have actually followed this team know.

As somebody said, it is sad that this is the last time we will see these seniors play (at Xavier). But I am sure we will be able to honor them on their return and also at the banquet.
