In reply to: GoMuskies 's message, "I doubt very seriously there would be enough listeners to support carrying every Lady Muskies basketball game. With graduation, the team will probably be doing its fair share of losing next year, so I don't think we're going to have a top-10 women's team hear next year." on 23:34:57 03/28/01 Wed

Although next year's team won't be a Top 10 team, the backcourt of Amy and Reetta will be completely intact, and Shavon Bell may start at the 3 spot as a G/F. Kate Kreager will start in the post, and it's anyone's guess as to whom the 5th starter will be (Lowry, Sarajilia, Yukes, an incoming recruit). They may not win the A-10, but they'll still contend for a bid to the 2002 NCAA Tournament. This is why you play the UConns and the Vanderbilts: strong non-con opposition will get the ladies ready for A-10 play.

As for radio not being a priority, most A-10 schools have radio deals, and almost all schools (except us) have at a minimum radio coverage for all their home games. Heck, even student-run radio might not be a bad idea.
