NO ONE IS ACCUSING ANY OF THE PAGEANT DIRECTORS OF FIXING OR SCREAMING SCANDAL!!! It just seemed that all the judges weren't too clear on the goal of the pageant; "to pick the women who had all the attributes to best represent the Upper Peninsula at Miss Michigan. The reaction of the crowd was pretty much universal, the judges left the young lady out who most everyone felt carried herself the best on stage w/ confidence, poise, grace, & beauty.
Please don't damage the pageant's validity w/ nasty gossip & unsubstantiated charges. Let's keep it respectful. Everyone is entitled to their opinion & it's important to speak out. Just PLEASE don't make comments that could ruin the pageant.
I sincerely hope that the lady that should have won will compete at state again & represent us well again this year. She placed top 10 last year.
Stacey Smith - you were simply beautiful on stage. PLEASE! compete for the U.P. at Miss Michigan & Please! come back next year to Miss UP!
