I am sorry Intimidator and denver havent been active but I have been at the stable Alot! Hey Allie. It's laure. I'm back from the horse show! I had moved up to a new division so the first day i got some ribbons and reserve champ overall. today (sunday) i didn't do as well, and the judge placed some kids from a different barn over me. so i got 4ths and 5ths. but it was fun. my horse was really good. i was proud of him! lol. -- Laure/Golden Sunsets, 20:35:09 04/08/01 Sun

YOU PEOPLES NEED TO CHILL!!!! Get a life! You obviously do not know how to run a game OR how to treat people! You kick people out because they are not "accepted" and your horses have wimpy little footguards defending you. LAME! Here's a lil' lesson/speech...

OK, first of all, in the wild, it's not like some horse is going to say "Look, you're too nice, so I'm banishing you." I mean come on. Real horses aren't evil like you're trying to make your chars. And in r/l, no stallion has the power to just banish other horses. They can try to herd them off, but it's not like the horses are gonna listen. You call your game one o' those supposed "realistic" games, but this sure doesn't seem like it to me.

Secondly, if you want to run a successful game, you cannot choose what horses stay and go. I wanted to join your game because it had a nice layout, and looked neat and organized. Then you say I can't join 'cause I'm "too nice". So I try to act more "evil", you might say, and now you think I'm being obnoxious. Would ya'll make up your minds? You won't get as many members if you just off and kick people out for no reason. Plus, you expect us to be on all the time? Well if we're expected to, how come you don't make that same commitment?

Thanks for the webmonkey page, and i like how you put little discribtions after the horses, you have did it for luke, yet not Insomnia or Devil (and I know that they are confusing mares, so its probably a reason) but just wondering about things like that... yah know.

Also I might not be active Thrusday and Friday, because I have confirmation practice and Confirmation. Yah know...so i might get little things in, but it will be hard

Ok, I talked to Silverbane's player for a while, and he had a few things to say. He came to appologize, and I told him some stuff. He wanted to say he was very sorry that he posted in the Main Herd, he didnt know he snt supposed to, so I toild him thats one of the main reaosns we are all so upset, because noone is reading the rules, and everyone is disobeying them. He then said he was really sorry and he wont do it again, so I warned himt o just lay low, cause no problems, read thje rules, obey the rules, and hopefully he would be forgiven eventually. He seemed honestly sorry, but I told him that there have just been to many people pissing everyone off because they either dont read rules or disobey them.

First of all, I would like to say congratulations to DS on taking over Hidden Valley... I must say I used to think it was one of the best horse RPGs out there, but now I'm not too sure. Just giving you my honest opinion... I will however give it a chance and comply by the new rules. However, you must understand that it is hard for some people to simply forget past relationships. I'm not saying that it is wrong for you to ask us to do that, but please be understanding if someone slips once or twice. I would also like to say that I'm a tad disappointed that WUAS was not accepted... I know that the past has been forgotten, but he ran a successful herd and was very active in the old HV. I'm on many times a day... I apologize if you think I'm being disrespectful, in fact I am showing my respect to you with honesty. I know it must not be easy to run a game, and take criticism... Also Allie, are you DS? You were SD, correct? Just wondering because of a couple posts before this by DS/Allie... And this is my last thing, I promise :-) If a stallion is not accepted into the herd, does he stay in the stallion area? If so, what is he expected to do there?

Don't worry about the old HV players, the whole I re-started the game was because I wanted to get rid of the 'candyland' type people. If they complain, let them, i'll block their IPs, but this is how HV is, from now on

Since everyone is telling me to come here and post that there are spelling errors, I will post that "there are spelling errors!" HAPPY!??? Okay...sorry...DS I think you should get someone else to go around and like pick someone, because just the mares' board is like crowded and its practically its own rpg. My friend Deb and I when we did this game, we got a lot of players, had them go through what you are basically doing in the "joining, mares and stallion" section and then have them go to the game. ok so I have figured out my school/riding shedual and here is when I will be on most of the time... (all times are PACIFIC)

Sunday - all day-ish
Monday - after 8pm
Tuesday- after 4pm
Wednesday- after 5pm
Thursday - after 8pm
Friday - after 4pm
Saturday - after 6pm

just incase any of ya are wondering...
and by the way it may seem like I am slightly inactive but that is mainly bcuz I am on pacific time and most of you are ahead of me by a few hours.

*sighs in frustration* Today was rough and the first few days of the game is gonna be like this. We will always have our complainers and debators and our rude and imature players that we have to be delt with, but once we get the game going...i am sure that things will rum smoothly. I'm behind ya all the way so stay cool, calm, and patient. You will see and prove to them all what kind of a game this REALLY is.

I think this game has awesome potential, but we are getting two or three members who seem to think they know-it-all and refuse to obey the rules. I say we take this game, seperate it from HV completely, and play it like we want. All of those HV loyalists can go make their own game, and see how easy it is to do what DS has done.

I'm sorry if I sound pissed, but I am. This game has incredible potential to be one of the best realistic RPGS out there, and it's gonna be brought down by a couple of freaking fairy loyalists that refuse to forget HV. (Notice I'm not saying any names...so if you think I'm talking about you, I probably am NOT.)

Why can't they just start over? Just remeet all of their herd members, etc....most people probably won't come back, because they are afraid that HV is "evil." I haven't seen anything evil about this game, just realistic, and that's the kind of RPGs that are successful.

DarkStar - sorry if I pissed you off on any of the boards earlier, but Tori did come and ask me to help get some of these people under control. I didn't mind doing it, either. You deserve respect for the game. So - if you want to exile my character (even though I was in OOC the whole time, lol) becuase of my actions, then I understand...

Looks like old HV made a turn for the better - I will admit, I was a little afraid of it turning into a good vs. evil game, and if it did that I was outta here. But strangely enough it's like Terror's Darkness - yet not enough to be copycat. I like it.

Good job, DarkStar...hopefully more realistic players will join this, and leave the candyland to more apt and childish games...
