Subject: Winter Refit (Major alterations)

The "Ice Maiden" is now being prepared for a major refit over this winter. The ama's are being removed and replaced with longer ama's. The present ama's are 33ft 6in and the new ama's will be 35ft 6in. The complete sail wardrobe is being refurbished and the main hull is being striped right back and will be repainted. All going well I will back sailing by the middle of Spring. It is amazing as to what you find in the most unlikely places when you clear very thing out. Somethings you just don't what to know about and others you can't remember what it was for.
