The people at Furled Sails (the sailing podcast) encourage participation in all their events. Contact them through their website @ http://www.furledsails.com/. You should listen to Jay's interview on this website. Most of the interviews they have I found very interesting. Also get Jay's books Wind and Tide, and Sea-Steading.
