Hi Zombi,

not sure if you remember but my friend and I were the ones who came up to look at the Balboa (was it two?) years ago. Too bad it has to find its way to the scrap yard. I remember reading about that little boat and really liked it and the design.

I did end up finding a little boat (a seafarer 22) which I am living aboard part time now. Sailed it last fall a few times before winter but have a few things to do before it's ready to go out this year. The perpetual rain storm this year has been hindering my ability to work on it.

Anyway, I just saw site from this guy who modified a little 20' twin keel boat and sailed it from California to Hawaii. Thought you might be interested in it. He gave it flotation and beefed up the rigging. He explains pretty well on his site all the modifications he made.

Hope you'll be out there soon.
