I'll chime in with my interest also. I've been fence sitting on this issue for a bit, not sure what to believe about some of the claims I've read out there. To the point of actually wondering if they are shills/viral marketing. We had been intending to use a porta potty or a bucket (our limited experience with a marine head has not been all positive), but the composting heads really sound too amazing to be true (from our point of view) No thru hulls, no smell, and the simplicity of the porta potty, without the need to use chemicals and constantly empty it... And a full month for a live aboard pair before it needs emptying? Is the $850 price tag, and the vent that needs to be installed on the cabin top, the only downsides???
