I just read Ken Neumeyer's book Homesteading on the Ocean which is now 25 years old. I have had a dream and looking for the last 6 years sailing as crew in the Carribbean, mexico and the South pacific for folks who are growing food onboard, sprouting, building the solar stills he outlines and in general living a sustainable lifestyle onboard. I have sprouted, done rain catchment, made yogurt etc onboard and am looking for like minded sailors who want to put together a sailing /cruising /sustainable boat based on his book. Anyone doing any of these things now or share this dream? I am presently in Tonga in the South pacific.
