I'd say get rid of unneeded complexity. Get rid of the table if there is one. Get rid of drawers, as they weigh a lot, store little, and just put large bins in the cabinets. Simply. Try to find an area where large bulky items can effectively be stored. Work towards an interior that you can clean out with high pressure hose.
