I came across a boro-silicate paint called ThermoShield a while back - it's used by Pacific Domes to coat in- and outside their tent/homes. I wonder if this might have application in liveaboard circumstances (the money shot was a 16' diameter dometent up at 8000 feet in winter covered in snow while occupied by a guy in a t shirt with a little wood burner...
