Thanks Tom ! There is already a transducer that i can see up front on the hull. There is a wire coming out of it that goes to the instrument panel, but it doesn't work, which is why i bought this fish finder. Looks like it screws out, but i'm afraid to do that as it might become a big old hole in my boat, thus i would sink. hee hee
