If I don't make a move up to the Puget Sound, I may be sailing something larger than a short board up on the Gorge soon. But yes, even sailing a windsurfer is interesting with all the barges, sometimes. When I was first learning, it was a big factor in getting my waterstart down in a hurry--something I never managed to do during an entire week in the Caribbean.
