My husband and I would still love to race aboard someone's boat. Just let us know. We are down in Everett and would love to go!! If you need crew, just give us a holler via the oarclub messages or give us a ring: 402-926-9546.

Last time I raced was years ago aboard Jay's Renegade with Perry and crew. I just remember it being very wet, having crappy rain gear, and most of the back side of the counterclockwise trip spent going around 1 knot with Perry and Jay doing all kinds of sail changes. I think our time was around 14 hours and it concluded with one of the worst (and yet somehow best if you know what I mean) grilled cheeses of all time in a cafe in the harbor. It was miserable and I loved it! Jay was a sweetheart and Perry and his girl could not have been any nicer. Besides bring some better foulies with me I would not have changed a thing. Oh, and being on a boat with Jay and Perry made me feel rather useless and unskilled. I doubt that has changed any but I still would love to be there.
