Hey Mike....maybe you are on to what has to be done. A number of us could try to set the gig up and take on the responsibility and maybe some of the cost to get Dave to play. I know this sounds hokey....but Wally Bryson and Jim Bonafanti have to have their pnone numbers in the phone book around Mentor. (I am from Illinois so I don't know). Maybe Scott McCarl would agree to play like at the Odean. But we could get like an American Legion Hall or some similar venue for wedding receptions and book the place. We could get the musicians mentioned a few sentences back or ask for others to play. Would Michael Stanley play?....or how about Dan Klowan or Denny Carleton? I know Eric probably would not. Could we put out an all call to see how much interest there is for Dave. Do you think Dave would come to Ohio and play if some of this fell together? It is a great thought and I would drive 9 hours from Illinois to see it and experience it. Sometimes you have to dream big and go for it even if it sounds like a lot of work or take the line "They would not be interested". You never know...it might just fly. Let me know your thoughts Mike.
