Subject: .poetic...hardly.

**two of silence, one of song. one alliance, iron strong. one of lust and two of sin. hell’s forsaken, dark to win. one of endless fall of night. one of sorrow's cloak in sight. one to guard, and one to rule. the rest to follow, darkness’ tools**

.lyrical.

**a careful gaze is cast upon all, thoughts flickering in her orbs like candle flames behind a sheet of sheer and luminous dark silk, sharp but hidden. ebon silhouettes dance behind the curtains, whirling to the unheard harmonies of an ever-changing waltz playing within the mind of the lone soloist. for some, her gaze is dubious and critical, for others deep and respectful. ebonite pedates scar the turf beneath, mercilessly and single-mindedly treading o’er the terrain in silken silence, passing amongst the other mares in an uncharacteristic act of mingling, she which has made few attempts to melt into the growing orchestrated mass of femmes. gregarious? far from it, but she that stands alone may not stand long, and all sorts of other such maxims. hackneyed, but tried and true. some mares present are of great worth, and it is not lost upon the vigilant siren**

.observe.

**she shall not push for an alliance, for she is acutely conscious that few know her well enough to agree to a binding oath of partnership. she herself has yet to meet all of the populace of these regions of pandemonium … and yet there is one that seems more likely than any she has yet encountered. mime - where are you? i would like to learn to know you better, for it seems interest is mutual between us, would you not agree? perhaps from a lengthier acquaintance between us could arise a better and deeper-rooted understanding of each other**

(I’m a poet! ^_^ I'll leave it to you wonderful peeps to decipher which phrase in the poem [first paragraph of above post] defines you. *sweet smile*)

((Im one of the silent ones? hehehe))

torrent of winds. hushed silence. listen closely.

pale vision lands upon the lonely soloist, one whom had immediately earned the respect of the mime. dancing within her invisible world so long, most had noticed the one of ash and onyx. Had this soloist as well? Smile curved palpable lips, lappets raised from skull. A movement was not made, nor was a sound form the silent statuette, the mime. Shall I play once more for you good Siren? I do wish to know more of you as well.

|. It's So Evident, Don't You See? .|

[ I see you, my invisible friend, I see the box I live in. I see you, my loud siren. I see your ashes smolderin' ]

. Undecided 'twas she, 'pon which persona defined she. Undefined was her spirit, yet of silence it 'twas. Hellish beast, silent. Per'aps she 'twas one of the two of silence, one of the watches, one of the shadowed beings? .

. Can you decide the fate, the fate that rests 'pon your shoulders? You, my friend are wise, for the fire within you ne'er smolders. The ashen soul yearns to be free, yet you encase it within. You decide your destiny, you prepare your sin. Wise are you, before me, wise are your thoughts. Prepare your soul within you, 'Tis time you were saught .

. And you, my invisible one, seem to have no care. Yet, inside it burns you, your unceasable snare. You decide your fate, it's clear. You realize when your master draws near. Wiser than most, you are, for you see through the wall. And through the night, it rests 'pon you, to answer the call .

(Your turn...you decide which one.)

clouded attention falls upon thie Veil of Tears, mug diped in silent greeting. Ah, wise one. So you see this box which most cannot...Yet, can you escape it? For this is the question we all must ask ourselves, this is the test. It is possible, I know. Gaze flits betwixt duo. One of rising importance, wise and bold. The other more mute, yet equally wise within silence. The lone soloist and the Veil of Tears.

.trapped in an invisible box, yet maybe simply invisible to you.

.you see my box, my world. you see you too are enclosed wihtin your own. now, pray, escape it for me

((uh...am I the invisible one, lol? and do you have AIM?))

[> **Poetry... how fun!** -- Martyr, 18:22:22 02/17/02 Sun

**A peaked eyebrow raises in a genuine thought and she tips a delicate dial in her consideration. In quiet debate she answers, her tongue in poetry and set to rhyme. Who am I..? Very good question.**

They told me that it doesn't even matter,
But now I see they lied.
The faces changed, cruel and battered,
And I see what lies inside.

Shrouded in the depths of the void,
The shadows, they light my way.
How can you see what's gone and destroyed,
They ask, but I never say.

I hold fast to a hopeless dream,
In the prayer it might save me.
Pushing away temptation's gleam,
Just to drown in it's mockery.

I've walked the path of death in vain,
And I have yet to stumble.
Leaping blindly into the world of pain
I've vowed to never crumble.

**Her dark eyes narrow and her sharp gaze wanders to each Siren, Mime, Veil, and Knife. Vivid emotions rush her eyes and debates rage her mind. Rising respect greets each the solitary siren and the caged mime, and an illuminant flame flickers to Veil, and curious intrigue is cast upon Knife, and with an impish smirk she chuckles**

.and who are you?.

[.my guess is known.]

[.when secrets are clear.]
[.at least your own.]
[.for mine are locked.]

**what a gathering of poets have we here...and judging commences. intriguing, indeed. audits swivel subtly to encage all sounds, crania elevated 'loft slender fibrous boa to better observe all that have flocked now together at her inquisitive melody. indeed, this was what made a harem strong, for now could the weak be winnowed out and the worthy could bind together in united might. a silver'd cry arrows forth from scorched velveteens, a greeting to her 'sisters,' fellow viragos that resided in these regions of pandemonium**

.salutations.

**subtle tunes whirl within her mind, carefully mutating as a glance is cast upon each equine, for in music there is soul and heart. ebonite pedates graze the terre, nevertheless wounding the earth, now trod upon by many restless feet. a quiet nicker is emitted to her peers, an expressively simple dip of head to her superiors, and a piercing watch is placed on those yet awaiting to rise in rank...if they could prove worthy. this knife edge - who was he? he had not been observed previously. careful, careful, sir. as mime has noted, the knife may turn on yourself if you do not tread with respect. you hold my attention; take care the spotlight does not find reason to turn nasty**

what is this? two more to join the guessing game? Smile played briefly 'pon ashen lips. The knife, surely one to be wary of. One wrong move and the knife may fall upon you head. And who was this, the Maryr? One of great intrigue, worthy. Nod issued to each, stream of frosted air escaping nasals in equid greeting. More was wished to be known of each female within circle forming. Each held strengths, different from eachother yet strong all the same. Coals flit o'er each in turn. Poetic they were in tongue...Yet how did each fair in battle?

[> [> [> [> **With the moon as my spotlight...* -- Martyr, 18:57:19 02/18/02 Mon

They told me of a fairy tale,
I wonder if it's true.
Caught delicately in a dreamland's veil,
Told to me by you.

Deep within the promised lands,
Comes whispered tales of lore.
Stout of heart and brave I stand,
But I wish for something more.

I've danced with the Unicorns,
The floor, a dreamer's mind.
But bright my glories, and reborn,
I dance until my time.

Broken myths are crucified,
I'll never know the reason.
But I have seen the angels cry,
They weep because of treason.

Built again by the Wisher's hope,
As far as the eye want see;
The roads are quietly paved in gold.
And the stars now call to me.

**Holding his gaze evenly she breaks it to look inquistively at each mare holding a circle drawn together by a riddled rhyme. Carelessly ignoring salvation's scream she tilts her head against Siren's words**

.i'm thinking i am the iron alliance?.

too damn lazy for ic...so here's my little analisis: ok...i told u a tale of dreams...as in something not to be believed. ur strong and brave, but u want love. you've dreamed and wished, but never got anywhere. the dreams were broken by reality, which betrayed them, but all dreamers are reborn and keep dreaming and wishing...and now it's time for you to love.

[ Ah, I see two new ones. One of a knife edge. Another of a Martyr, quite intriquing instead ]

. 'Deed this 'Mime' 'ad her trust indeed, as did 'Silent Zephyr'. Quite frankly, 'Siren' 'twas one of the wisest, for her emotions 'twere expressed clearly. 'Knife Edge' 'twas a new one, yet her dominance was true. And finally, thou 'Martyr' t'would be seen with care .

. The angels shall clant 'er arrival, yet she has no care. The others shall chance her dominance, and they will feel her snare. Some, if brave enough, shall come forth to thee. And soon enough, the flame they'll feel, and most likely see .

. 'Sharp' and 'Keen' her personality, blazing as the sun. The florescent light off the blade, makes the shadows run. It seems she 'hath a great mind, and emotions expressed clear. And yet, in time, we'd see the truth, or perhaps hear .

. Ooids gaze 'pon fatale's o' bunched 'clique', sculpted duo plunging for'ard 'ward the essence o' the center. Seems indeed, all here 'ad a different persona, and in time it could prove greatness .

[ Mime, I see your whit so clear. Martyr, I see your flame. Siren, I hear your shrill call. Silent Zephyr, you feel no shame. Knife Edge, you are wise indeed. I, but a watcher. Her opinion uncleaer. Yet she will sufficate you in your tear. ]
