You're right about Singel and the abortion issue. He was selected to run for lieutenant governor by Bob Casey Sr. because he was pro-life. He switched positons because he thoughtit was politically expedient. He lost anyway. He wont run against Bob Casey Jr for the Senate for a few reasons. A)He would lose B)Rendell will tell him not to and C)He'll probably run against poor old Katherine for Lt.Gov and he just might beat her setting himself up for a 2010 run for governor
