Many Months ago,(maybe 18 month ago) I posted on the old forum that we once used ~ the anagram of "THE BEALE PAPERS". Before I reiterate that posting, perhaps we first ought to examine the logic of calling the pamphlet "THE BEALE PAPERS"? Surely "The Beale Mystery" or "The Beale Treasure" or "Hidden Treasure In Virginia" would be far more likely to arouse public interest in the publication than the very ordinary sounding "THE BEALE PAPERS". So what I am suggesting is that the pamphlet HAD to be called "THE BEALE PAPERS" for a reason ~ namely because it fitted the applied anagram. Furthermore, I am suggesting that the anagram of "THE BEALE PAPERS" which is "SEE THE PALPEBRA" could only have been conceived by a brilliant literary mind, such as EAP. "SEE THE PALPEBRA" tanslates to "see the eyelid" or "see the wink" or "see the hoax".
