The journey o' the equus started many millions o' years ago 'pon the land called pangea. Many variations of the primative equus developed slowly over the passing years. Through those years pangea began to slide apart slowly to fom the seven continents. An ancient equus called Nineveh Equus became straned upon a small isle known as Nineveh, thus explaining their name. The first Nineveh Equus were timid an' flighty, all but one. The one was a great stallion dubbed Magnuiastos [this name cannot be used for anyones characters] who stood proud o'er his harem with a great delight shining in his orbs. Now the isle o' Nineveh was not far from the continent o' North America an' yet it remains fairly unknown to many, not even today being mapped. The gap between this continent an' the little iselw t'was only , maybe, a mile o' water called the Bridge Water Strait. Through the strait tis where all equus whose ancestry differs from the Nineveh Equus have come, thus decreasing the chances of in-breeding. In the beginning though, in Magnuiastos time, the isle lay hundreds of miles from North America. Many o' his own children ended up in-breeding with mothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, even their own children, until thousands of years later when the gap between Nineveh an' North America Was found to be as small as it is now an' many new equus came over. In-breeding since then has become rare an' frowned upon. Now treasure this knowledge forever more for it shant come again.

all characters and or isles and or water bodies are fictional and any resemblance they have to actual things is merely coinsidence
