Wish Upon A Star's Herd

You walk out of a wall of trees and before you lies an endless stretch of crystal clear water. You are standing on the softest footing you have ever experienced in your life. You look around and see a herd of horses grazing on patches of grass or laying in the shade of the palm trees seeming to be very peaceful and content. A stallion canters up to you, and seeing as you are of no threat, he nickers to you and nudges you gently into his herd.

Willow and Tobias have just had a foal, and WUAS and Peppa are expecting one! Jaded and Black Wind please let me know if you are still here!! All the new mares who have joined, welcome to our herd! Welcome also the new stallions. We have a new page format, let me know if you like it, or have any suggestions!

~The stallion's head picked up from his grazing as the mare's sweet scent was carried to him. He smiled and cantered forth stopping quietly beside Star.~>>> -- After the Rain, 16:59:33 03/19/01 Mon
~His eyes sparkled as he smiled.~ "You may call me simply, Storm. It's nice to see that we shall be sharing our time together in this beautiful land." ~His gaze wandered to the ocean and sand beneath his feet though his gaze returned to the elegant and graceful mare before him. She reminded him of the untamed ocean which he loved so much. His gaze flicked to Star and he coughed quickly. Slowly backing up he lowered his head.~ "I am sorry for intruding." ~Turning he returned to the lush area where he had been grazing. Lowering his head he shook his mane and nibbled at the green vegitation... yet his gaze continued to wander seek the beautiful mare whom lurked just beyond his vision.~

Deciding to greet the new foal later instead of crowding around him walks out to the beach. Her obsidon hooves lightly shuffling up sand. Lifts her head and dialates her nares. Picks up a swift canter, her tail bannering behind her. Kicks it up a notch and moves into a gallop. Her tresses bellowing in the wind. She finally stops and watches as the sun sets. Swings her finely chisseled head around and sees all the happy herd members with friends and lonliness overcomes her. Tucks her legs up under her and lays in the warm sand with her eyes closed allowing her pelt to absorb the last traces of light for the day.

The mare smiled at all the new faces. She had been away for the weekend, thinking things out. But she is back now, and will probably stay. She looks around, only knowing the original faces. She spots a little one by Willow and gallops over, but stopping several meters away, as not to scare the foal. "Wow. ~Staying quietly to the side he watches attentively though he does not intend on eavesdropping. Turning to the ocean he moves sharply towards it a lope cantering through the wake of the waves. He laughs to himself and picks up the pace. His feet seem to skim the top of the water as he rockets through the crystal blue liquid, shining orbs content to watch ahead of him. Finally slowing he walks out farther until his chest was fully submerged. He sighed and looked back at the others. He would one day have what they had... a life, family, mate and home. His attention span short it returns to the setting sun. None had ever caught his attention with the soul driving need he had heard of. Would any? He seemed lost in the unforbidding ocean around him... somewhere was his path. He need only find it to begin his journey. Shivering from the beginning chill he returns to shore to shake his painted coat. Walking towards the herd he smiles to himself. They had dared to accept him... he was no longer the outcast.~

Well I know you all have been waiting for this, so I'm going to go ahead and give out positions... I'm hoping you all will accept..
*the stallion waits a moment, adding a dramatic flair... then he walks over to a mare* Trading Ophelia, you've been here almost since the beginning. From the first moment I saw you, I felt something that I've never felt before.. and now I know that that feeling is love. I love you TO.. will you please be my alpha mare? *he reaches over and nuzzles her gently, his eyes pleading with her to accept, then he turns to Peppa* Peppa, you are new to this herd, yet I feel a connection with you... a certain chemistry between us, that I feel will turn into a beautiful relationship.. will you please by my co-alpha mare? *he whuffs gently, his muzzle brushing past her lips* Gem Twist, you mean so much to me... we have two wonderful foals together, who are growing up beautifully and you and I get along wonderfully. Will you please accept my offer to be omega mare?

He stretches out a bit further and extends his ground-eating stride.. he races into the surf, feeling it lapping at his legs. He begins to prance excitedly, and his mind races, his thoughts of TO and Peppa exhilirate him.. he is so glad they love him back.. it has made him so happy that they are alphas. He tosses his mane, and it falls gently back onto his perfectly arched neck.. he swishes his tail and thunders back out of the ocean, back to the herd, his head held high and proud*

An enchanting black filly foal with a mysterious glow that surrounded her wanders in..she sniffs around..curious she was..she was really like her mother when she was young..she whinnies excitedly and starts to prance about in circles before she tripped.
