There are a lot of hunters feel the same way. A quality hunt is defined by the hunter. What's quality to you may not be quality to me. Believe me after a couple of dry years, any deer is a quality deer to me.

Everyone loves to get the big boys but depending on your ability, (like me these days..Can't walk 5 miles back in the woods to hunt) you may never see him. I guess that's why the old men sat around camp with the squaws and let the young men bring home the meat.

Hopefully you and your hunting buddies are willing to voice your opinions as to what you want to see happen with the system and antler restrictions and season limits. I know you are, but you need to get everyone else to speak up too.

If you don't belong to an organization like UHF who's willing to fight for hunters rights, you better be willing to do it yourself. Cause change is coming, good or bad.

Jim
