Star raises her muzzel to sniff at the bent women's scent, ears pricked forward in curiosity. Her tail thumped the ground at the young, fresh scent of a child lingering about the women. Something else lingered too, but Star couldn't tell that it was the earthy smell of horses, having never been around them.

The dealer glanced at the clipboard on her chair, seeking out Star's amount. She was asking a lot for the dog, but she was highly trained, good around kids and animals, and a beautiful dog. She could even be bred still. Twenty thousand.
