Date Posted: 13:35:01 05/06/06 Sat Two large trailers pull in, rumbling as the jet brakes release and their lumbering mass roll to stops. The cab doors open on both vehicles and creatures of the two legged variety step out. 12 people in all, and each and every one of them set to work quickly. The first truck was loaded with 6 horses, and each horse was quickly led stamping down the gate and out into the sunshine. Winnies erupting from the horses as they took in their new surroundings. Each horse was led to a standing stall that had quickly been erected. Their leadshanks tied to the front, just below where the two water buckets hung in each stall. The six people caring for the horses stood quietly by their horse, watching and waiting for buyers. The second truck was just as frantic, smaller than the first, it couldn't hold horses, and indeed, it didn't. 6 more people unloaded canines of different breeds. Small pens had been constructed in the time it took for the standing stalls to be put up, and each dog was led into one. Their leashes unclipped and hung on a hook outside the pen. Each pen had two water dishes filled to the brim with cool water, placed carefully in the shade of the trees they had been set up against. Again, their handlers settled down by the dog's pen, watching and waiting for potential customers. Horses Name: Jumper Babe (babe) Age: 5 yrs Breed: Hanovarian Gender: Mare Color: Black Personality: Babe is a fire cracker. She's young, full of spunk and rarin' to go. She deffinately needs an experienced handler, or she'll walk all over you, literally. She loves to jump, and will take just about anything you point her at. However, she is easily agitated with a bad rider, and will just as quickly refuse the jump if you misgauge yourself. Training: Three day eventing. Trailers nicely, clips nicely. Very sociable in the herd. No major vices. Price: $40,000 Visual:  Name: Take Two Steps (Step) Age: 7 years Breed: Sweedish Warmblood Gender: Stallion Color: Bay Personality: Easy going ground manners. He's a real lover, and cuddler around women. He's a piss ant under staddle. He will push every button you have, and look for more. VERY competitive, and single minded in his work. Training: Heavily trained in Dressage, started lightly in endurance trail riding. Price: $50,000 Visual:  Name: Sheeza Promise (Promise) Age: 3 years Breed: Arabian Gender: Mare Color:Gray Personality: Promise is a very friendly girl, she likes everyone she meets. Promise is more of a people horse than a "horse horse," perfering to spend her time with her human, either working, training, or just hanging out. Which is the result of her being orphaned as a young foal. (she was the rejected twin) Training: Promise is a champion halter competitor, and has just started being worked under staddle. She would make a wonder three day eventer, as she has the scope for the jumps, and the discipline for dressage. She would also do very well in endurance riding. Price: $25,000 Visual:  Name: Touch me Twice (Buddy) Age: 4 years Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Gelding Color: Personality: Buddy is a gentleman, both on ground and under saddle. He would make a wonderful beginner's horse, as he is very careful with his cargo. He's young, but very forgiving. Training: A smooth jumper, can take about 4'6" with no problem. Would take some training to get any higher. Knows a fair amount of dressage, though isn't very good at it. Likes jumping more. Price: $35,000 Visual:  Name: Catch 22 (catch) Age: 2 years (closer to 3) Breed: Quarter Horse X Arabian Gender: Stallion Color: Black and White Personality: Catch is a typical stallion/colt. He still wants to play with everyone, and doesn't realize that he can't go up to a mare and nip her without getting a healthy kick in the chin. He's a quick learner, and ready to work! Training: Halter, Leads, clips, trailers. Has barely started under saddle. Price: $30,000 Visual:  Name: Double Jeopardy (Jep) Age: 6 years Breed: Knapstrupp Gender: Stallion Color: Leopard Personality: Jep is your typical, high strung stallion. He wants to be the boss, all the time, not only when he's in the pasture. However, once he understand that you are the boss, he can be a complete dream to ride and compete. If you are worth it, he'll give you his all. Training: Jep has dipped into almost everything. He goes western and english, can jump, do dressage, go cross country, do endurance. He just started working in harness for obsticale driving! Price: $75,000 Visual:  Dogs will do soon ((These horses and dogs do NOT have players.... if you ask nicely, i MAY play them for you. If you are interested in my playing them for you, you had damned well better post decent posts. No, 2 to 3 liners. Gimme paragraphs to work with, and i'll play them for you after the purchase! Keep in mind, that does not mean you can just come up and say "Billy bob joe scanned the dogs, spotting a brown and black one and walked over. He sized the dog up and let him out to take home."
