He'd agreed to help out in the barns, yes, but that didn't mean that he agreed to take full responsibility for anything at all. Fal's patience for him seemed to be wearing thin, despite them being great friends. "Look, Loki, you promised me you would help around the stables. That's half the deal with you getting a house, remmeber? And if helping out means you have to take on a horse or two, then you should be happy to oblige." The young man crossed his arms over his chest, shaking his head. There was a small grin on his face however, which threw off his whining mood. As they progressed, it was becoming more and more obvious that he was simply doing what he was doing to try and get a reaction from her. And it was simply failing as she finally began to ignore him. His game ended, he fell into step beside her with a placid expression on his face. If Ajax had still been complaining, neither one would have had any clue at all that the mother and son were there. As it was, Fal only stopped and looked around a moment, thinking she had heard something. "Hey, c'mon, I thought we were here to look at horses?" Ajax quirked an eyebrow, looking over his shoulder back at his friend who was now a few steps behind. Fal sighed and nodded.
