 Oo! Company! Better company than the gruff-voiced boy certainly! Ears pitched forward at the stranger, the gelding whuffled a hello as he crossed the enclosure to investigate. With no timid hesitation whatsoever, he lifted his head clear of the top rail and extended a curious nose to the woman.

Lifting careless eyes to the potential buyer, the young man slid down from his perch, jamming his hands into his pockets in a sloppy slouch. "Three thousand."
