 Biting back a string of colorful curses as the whinny told him all he needed to know, the slender Frenchman did not bother to open the gate, slipping over the fence instead as the unkempt creatures came his way. There would be angry phonecalls being made tonight! Only under solomn promises of exceptional care-taking had he sold these two and the older horses!

But nevermind that now! Those bastard liars were not of top concern at the moment, not when two old friends ambled to meet him after too long apart! Getting his own flood of emotions under control, he approached the horses with soft greetings cast out before him and offered out his hands for inspection as the young beasts met him. "Hey, beauties, good to see you again, eh? Ah, my boys, who has done this to you?"
